“A Trio of Films to Watch On Netflix: Heartwarming Romantic Comedies That Will Leave You Smiling. In the world of romantic comedies, these three films stand out for their unique and heartwarming stories. “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” follows the romantic misadventures of a high school student. While “Tutta colpa di Freud” explores the complicated love life of a therapist. “About Time” takes a sci-fi twist on the genre. As the protagonist discovers he can travel back in time to fix his past mistakes in love. Together, these films showcase the beauty and complexity of modern-day love and relationships.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)

Based on the bestselling children’s book of the same name, the film is a romantic comedy of misunderstandings starring a very young high school girl who doesn’t like being the center of attention.

Lara (Lana Condor) keeps a secret: she writes letters to her crushes expressing her feelings and keeps them in her closet. However, one day she discovers that her letters have been sent out to all her former crushes. Who then approach her to discuss her feelings. The title of the movie is the first in a trilogy that is available in full on Netflix. It is a well-told tale of romantic clichés and genre models that offers both entertainment and sighs.

Tutta colpa di Freud (2014)

Paolo Genovese ( Perfect strangers , A perfect family ) signs a dramedy of misunderstandings interpreted by Marco Giallini, Alessandro Gassman, Edoardo Leo, Vittoria Puccini, Vinico Marchioni, Claudia Gerini and many others.

Francesco, played by Marco Giallini, raises his three daughters alone after his wife leaves him. He is a fifty-year-old psychologist. The youngest is eighteen, the eldest is over thirty: each of them is grappling with a romantic misfortune.

As if that weren’t enough there is Claudia. A beautiful woman that Francesco crosses every day without ever having the courage to speak to her.

Humor and well-orchestrated situations – even if sometimes bordering on the absurd and certainly not authorial – are the basis of this perfect film for a carefree sofa evening.

About Time (2013)

The director of a genre classic like Notting Hill (always in the Netflix catalog), signs this surreal romantic story starring Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson.

Tim is 21 years old when his father reveals a family secret to him: like his ancestors. He too has the gift of time travel, leaping back into the past and then always returning to the present. While Tim uses his power, in a bar he meets Mary. The two fall in love, but a mistake made during a passage of time calls everything into question.

A matter of time is a film of narrative interlocking. In which romantic and comic situations chase each other in a pleasant and intelligent way. Watch it if you are looking for a sentimental film with a plus of staging and cast.
